Job overview

The Law Clerk role is onsite in Hermiston, OR, with compensation of $22–$28 per hour depending on law-school year or bar status. The position supports Umatilla County’s District Attorney’s Department and criminal prosecution work. The clerk assists attorneys with case review, discovery, legal research, motion work, plea negotiations, and trial preparation. Certified clerks may appear in court and represent the State; uncertified students may observe court proceedings but do not appear as the State’s representative.
