The Line Cook — Tatte Old Town works onsite in Alexandria, VA. Pay is $19.00–$22.70 per hour. The cook prepares dishes and ingredients to recipe, quality, and presentation standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen. The role works under the direction of the Sous Chef and Executive Chef and supports kitchen operations across shifts.

What you'll do

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards
• portion, chop, weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
• operate kitchen equipment
• check appliance and food temperatures
• set up and break down workstations
• wash and disinfect kitchen surfaces, tools, and equipment
• follow safety and security procedures
• assist chefs with food preparation and related culinary tasks.
