Concrete Finisher

The Concrete Finisher role is onsite in Lubbock, TX, with pay of $20–$25 per hour. ABCI is a local, mid-sized civil construction company. The role performs manual work across concrete projects, from forming and pouring to finishing surfaces. It contributes to project completion by preparing forms and bases, installing fixtures, and applying finishing and curing treatments.

What you'll do

• Place forms to achieve required depth and pitch
• remove edges on expansion joints and sides
• use hand and power tools
• install anchor bolts, steel plates, and fixtures in fresh concrete
• polish surfaces
• align forms for sidewalks, curbs, and gutters
• waterproof and restore concrete surfaces
• compact materials
• finish surfaces to requested patterns
• signal truck drivers and move chutes
• patch voids
• apply hardening and sealing compounds.
