Construction Management Intern

Compensation is $16–$19 per hour. The Construction Management Intern role is onsite at Scot Forge’s corporate facility in Spring Grove, IL, for Summer 2027. as a numeric amount; the internship is paid. The intern supports renovation and expansion projects at Scot Forge manufacturing facilities. The intern assists the Construction Manager and multidisciplinary team with project coordination, schedules, contractor management, documentation, budgets, and safety coordination. The work provides project experience applying engineering theory in a manufacturing environment.

What you'll do

• Assist the Construction Manager with coordination and oversight of capital construction and expansion projects
• support schedule development, contractor management, and project documentation
• track budgets and invoices for financial reporting
• collaborate with the Safety team on contractor education and adherence to company safety policies
• maintain project schedules and report updates to relevant team members.
