Sales Estimator

The Sales Estimator role is onsite in Rochester, NY. Compensation is not specified. The role supports Syntec Optics’ Sales, also called Business Development, team on new request-for-quote opportunities and prepares quotes for existing customers. The estimator gathers information for quotes, reviews pricing and manufacturing-process components, and prepares quote packages for management review. The work helps the sales team respond to customer requests and move approved quotes through to customers.

What you'll do

• Participate in weekly Sales staff meetings
• gather information from internal and external contacts for quotes
• review pricing for existing programs and requote as needed
• review manufacturing-process components and alert management to concerns
• respond to customer requests
• prepare quote packages for management review and arrange approved quotes for customers
• process overflow quotes from Program Management
• enter values into the Master Quote Log.
