Sign & Lighting Field Service Technician

Job overview

The Sign & Lighting Field Service Technician role is onsite in Myrtle Beach, SC, with pay of $19–$25 per hour. The technician services customer sign and lighting equipment at customer locations. The role exists to restore and maintain the functionality and safety of signs and lighting. It involves diagnosing equipment issues, completing repairs and installations, documenting service work, and communicating with customers and the service department.

What you'll do

• Repair signs and lighting products
• drive service vehicles to customer locations
• maintain vehicle parts and inventory
• safely operate lift equipment for assessments and repairs
• install new or modified equipment
• inspect malfunctioning or damaged products and determine corrective action
• troubleshoot electrical signs and lights
• follow quality-control and safety practices
• complete work orders and service documentation
• perform preventative maintenance and minor equipment or vehicle repairs.
