Youth Swim Coach

The Youth Swim Coach role is onsite in Los Gatos, CA; the listed pay is $36.95 per hour. Reporting to the Recreation Coordinator, the coach runs daily operations of the youth swim program and supports the Aquatics Program’s growth and member retention. The coach develops seasonal programming and workouts, works with swimmers on individual goals, and coordinates assistant coaches and swim-meet activities. The role also supports clinics, membership, event planning, and safe swim training, contributing to the program’s development and community participation.

What you'll do

• Coordinate and supervise assistant coaches and daily workouts
• support swimmer registration and assistant-coach hiring and scheduling
• help develop program goals, budgets, events, marketing, and seasonal plans
• attend meetings and events, including those requiring travel
• assist with travel arrangements
• host clinics and educational opportunities
• organize volunteers and support teams
• set swimmer goals
• develop workouts with the Coordinator and coaching staff
• promote membership
• provide staff updates
• and set up and put away equipment.
