Process Technician

The Process Technician role is onsite in Glenville, NY. The stated pay rate is $20–$23 per hour, and day and night shifts are available. The position supports high-tech manufacturing operations involving thin-film processes and related testing and characterization tools. The technician performs process operations, electrical testing, and characterization while maintaining equipment and producing reliable data. Following safety procedures and preserving data integrity helps support manufacturing quality and production control.

What you'll do

• Support shift operations with HTS manufacturing processes, electrical testing, and thin-film characterization, including data collection, analysis, and reporting
• maintain and assemble PVD, CVD, and electropolishing/electroplating equipment components
• follow SOPs and laboratory safety protocols
• document test measurements and support test procedures, data-chain integrity, and production control protocols
• prepare data summaries using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• learn new process and test systems
• follow chemical handling and waste management procedures.

Why this role

Minimum qualifications include high school graduation or equivalent and 2–5 years of industrial experience in high-tech manufacturing. An AAS degree or technical certification is preferred; hands-on thin-film or wet-chemical equipment experience is also preferred.
