What you'll do

• Verify therapy benefits and obtain authorizations
• monitor visit counts and request reauthorization
• communicate with primary care physicians, insurers, and case managers or adjusters
• prepare and maintain therapy charts
• greet patients
• collect copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles
• explain new-patient paperwork
• prepare charge tickets
• follow up with inactive patients
• schedule therapy visits
• complete discharge chart procedures and distribute and collect mail.
