Children’s Dance Instructor — After-School Classes

The Children’s Dance Instructor — After-School Classes role is in person at various elementary schools across the Bay Area. Compensation is $50–$65 per class. The program aims to help elementary school students build confidence, coordination, and creativity through dance. The instructor leads age-appropriate classes for students ages 5–10, manages attendance and sign-in/sign-out, prepares equipment, and communicates with parents and school staff. Classes are generally 1–1.5 hours, may start between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and the posting lists approximately 2–5 hours weekly.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage classes of approximately 8–10 students in grades K–5
• teach age-appropriate dance activities and routines
• prepare and set up equipment
• take attendance and manage student sign-in/sign-out
• communicate with parents and school staff and provide constructive feedback
• take session photos following program guidance. Up to two days of unpaid training/shadowing may be required.
