The Lead Cook - 2027 Season role is onsite in Surry, ME, with pay of $18 per hour. It is a seasonal hourly position with the option of team-member housing for the duration of employment. The Lead Cook supports the General Manager of Food and Beverage. The role leads culinary team activities while also contributing to line cooking, catering, or expediting. It helps deliver restaurant and catering service while maintaining food safety, brand standards, inventory practices, and an organized kitchen.

What you'll do

• Know menu recipes, portions, ingredients, and allergens
• participate in menu development as required, including daily specials and catering menus
• implement and track food-handling and storage safety protocols
• complete cleaning checklists
• maintain organized work and storage areas and practice FIFO
• assist with ordering, receiving, waste tracking, count sheets, and inventory
• lead by example and communicate clearly
• support team members and guests
• share knowledge of the local area, culture, and on-site activities.
