The Registered Nurse (RN) — Medical Intensive Care Unit role is onsite in Burlington, VT, and is part-time. Compensation is not specified. The role provides nursing care to high-acuity patients, using clinical judgment and rapid decision-making across neurological, cardiac, pulmonary, infectious, metabolic, and other critical conditions. Nurses collaborate with the care team and may contribute to quality improvement and research; the unit also supports professional development and continuing education.

What you'll do

• Provide nursing care to critically ill patients in the Medical/Cardiac ICU
• collaborate with RNs, LNAs, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, unit clerks, environmental services, trainees, and physicians
• contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects. More than one year of ICU experience is required
• two or more years will be considered first.
