The Bookkeeper / Finance Operations role is onsite in Houston, TX, with compensation of $30,000 per year for a 0.5 FTE schedule. VK Capital Ventures operates Travel Villa Kitchen, a Houston chef co-op, cooking-class and private-dinner company, as well as Six Rows Coffee and Farm2Chef. The role keeps financial records current and reconciled, checks payroll and settlements, and supports investor and grant reporting so the company can rely on consistent, accurate financial information.

What you'll do

• Categorize and reconcile ledger transactions on a regular cadence
• check hours, rates, and payouts against schedules before payroll
• calculate and pay marketplace, demo, and pool settlements accurately and on time
• support investor and grant reporting with reconciled figures
• flag discrepancies when identified.

Why this role
