The Benefit Specialist role is onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. Pay is $21.07–$34.14 per hour. The position supports Every Home For Christ’s Human Resources functions and ministry. The role administers benefit and leave programs, supports HRIS operations, and helps ensure compliance with employment laws and benefit requirements. Accurate administration and responsive employee support contribute to the HR department’s service to ministry staff.

What you'll do

• Administer benefit enrollment and termination, leave management, retirement account funding, and benefit compliance records
• respond to benefit and HRIS support requests
• maintain HRIS profiles and reporting
• act as ADA Coordinator
• administer workers’ compensation and liability claims
• support onboarding, HR training, events, and office administration
• maintain confidentiality and provide updates to HR leadership.

Why this role

Requires 3–5 years of HR experience, specifically in benefit administration or leave management, and a bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
