The Group Exercise Instructor, Westview role is onsite in Frederick, MD. Compensation is $25–$40 per hour. The instructor represents Gold’s Gym DC Metro’s group exercise program. The instructor leads scheduled group fitness classes that build participants’ fitness, strength, and endurance while maintaining safety. The role also educates and motivates members, adapts exercises for different fitness levels, and helps sustain a positive class experience.

What you'll do

• Lead scheduled group fitness classes using approved formats
• explain and demonstrate techniques, muscle groups, and modifications
• coach participants and monitor for injury, illness, or overexertion
• welcome participants and answer questions
• maintain correct form and offer variations
• coordinate an approved substitute when absent
• ensure equipment and microphones work
• keep the exercise room organized
• report repair needs
• prepare incident reports as needed
• record hours and attendance
• attend required meetings and training.
