Caregiver — Personal Care Assistant

Job overview

The Caregiver — Personal Care Assistant role is onsite in Spring Hill, TN and surrounding areas, with pay of $17–$19 per hour. FirstLight Home Care provides non-medical home care to help seniors and adults maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life at home. The caregiver assists clients with daily living, companionship, meals, mobility, and household tasks. The role also observes and reports changes in client condition and helps clients attend appointments and errands as needed.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• provide companionship and emotional support
• prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• perform light housekeeping and laundry
• provide medication reminders
• assist with mobility, walking, and transfers
• accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed
• observe and report changes in condition
• complete documentation accurately and on time.
