Mechanical Commissioning Support Specialist

The Mechanical Commissioning Support Specialist works onsite at client facilities in Plain City, OH, typically between 6 AM and 4 PM, with flexibility for project schedules. Compensation is $65,000–$100,000 per year. TechSite plans, builds, tests, operates, and maintains mission-critical facilities. The role supports commissioning projects by helping Lead Engineers test and validate mechanical systems, document results, track issues, and resolve performance problems so critical facilities can operate reliably and efficiently.

What you'll do

• Coordinate commissioning with clients, contractors, startup teams, and the Owner’s Commissioning Agent
• participate in coordination meetings
• review installed mechanical systems against design documents
• support and witness startups
• validate sensor calibration
• assist with troubleshooting
• track issues and follow up on resolution
• functionally test HVAC, chilled-water, CRAC/CRAH, air-handling, and other cooling systems
• prepare reports, test scripts, Load Bank Plans, and other deliverables
• compile test data and final reports
• and support lessons learned and training.
