What you'll do

• Depending on credentials and clinic needs, welcome, room, and triage pediatric patients
• obtain and document vital signs and presenting concerns
• communicate pertinent information and abnormal findings to providers
• document visits in the EMR
• assist with procedures and patient care, including vaccines, medication administration, phlebotomy, laboratory testing, splinting, and radiology as permitted
• collect specimens and perform applicable CLIA-waived testing
• prepare and stock rooms
• support patient education and follow-up
• assist with registration, insurance verification, telephone support, and payment collection
• follow HIPAA, OSHA, and clinical safety standards.
