The Direct Service Provider – Culinary Arts role is onsite in Downey, CA. Compensation is $16.50–$19.50 per hour. The Arc’s culinary arts program provides foodservice training and support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The provider supervises and trains participants in a commercial kitchen, supporting individual needs and program goals. The role also helps with menus, maintains a safe and orderly environment, documents activities, and supports community participation and personal well-being.

What you'll do

• Supervise and train participants in foodservice skills
• engage participants in person-centered daily activities
• assist with menus alongside the Executive Chef and Program Innovation Leader
• maintain a clean and safe environment
• complete daily, incident, attendance, outing, and transportation records
• support community outings and events
• monitor participant safety and well-being
• follow organizational and licensing procedures.
