What you'll do

• Perform EMT-B patient care under Nebraska State Model Protocols
• assist nursing staff and paramedics with emergency department stabilization
• prepare and monitor interfacility transfers and report condition changes
• obtain and document vital signs, medication histories, and allergies
• assist with hygiene, mobility, and nutrition
• prepare exam rooms
• collect specimens and perform EKGs as directed
• document care in electronic health records
• maintain equipment, supplies, medications, vehicles, and station
• support public education, public relations, training, and continuing education.
