Job overview

The Construction Management Intern, Government Projects role is an onsite, full-time summer 2027 position based in Tacoma, WA, with recurring national travel to project locations; the posting states travel may be 10–50% as needed. Compensation is $19–$23 per hour. Sevan provides construction, program management, real estate, site development, and architecture and engineering services, including for government and military housing projects. The intern supports the general contracting division and Project Management team by helping review construction progress, track field work, and maintain project reporting and documentation. The role provides hands-on project exposure while helping the team monitor schedules, coordinate deliverables, and support project execution.

What you'll do

• Assist the Project Team with onsite reviews of construction progress against schedules
• support project managers with field monitoring and reporting
• assist with project documentation, tracking, and status reports using Excel
• communicate with vendors
• contribute to review of contracts, bills of materials, and change orders
• respond to sensitive inquiries
• perform additional duties as assigned.
