Inside Sales Representative – Building Materials

Job overview

The Inside Sales Representative works onsite in Pennsauken, NJ. Compensation is $20–$25 per hour. Fessenden Hall is a building materials distributor with a history dating to 1890. The representative owns and grows an assigned account list, converting quotes into orders and supporting customers with product, pricing, stock and order information. The role works with field sales and internal teams to provide responsive service and contribute to account revenue growth.

What you'll do

• Make planned outbound calls, reactivate dormant accounts and cross-sell on open orders
• follow up on open quotes within one to two business days
• partner with field sales on stock checks, pricing and order expediting
• handle calls, emails and walk-in inquiries
• identify and address customer needs
• confirm stock and lead times
• log account activity in Agility
• support counter sales, transactions, inventory counts and company events as needed
• and meet sales targets.
