The CNC Machine Operator – 2nd Shift role is onsite in Houston, TX. Compensation is not specified. The operator supports Panelmatic’s production of custom electrical, instrument, and pneumatic control panels by producing sheet metal parts for metal buildings and enclosures. The role sets up and operates CNC and fabrication equipment to make parts to print and dimensional requirements. Accurate fabrication, inspection readiness, equipment care, and safe work practices support the company’s production and quality standards.

What you'll do

• Read blueprints, work orders, and schematics
• select materials
• load and unload materials
• set up, align, calibrate, and program CNC equipment
• cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to specifications
• verify workpiece dimensions
• operate fabrication machines such as brakes and shears
• maintain project and repair records
• keep the workspace clean and safe
• perform routine CNC maintenance and cleaning
• notify the lead or inspector when products are ready for inspection.

Why this role
