Associate Project Manager — Utility Engineering

The Associate Project Manager role is onsite in Syracuse, NY, with a stated pay range of $90,000–$110,000 per year. K&A Power Group provides engineering, project management, and construction management services for power utility and industrial clients. The role supports project delivery for distribution, transmission, and substation work by coordinating schedules, budgets, resources, reporting, and project teams. It helps ensure construction and engineering activities meet safety, quality, client, and project requirements from initiation through closeout.

What you'll do

• Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of distribution, transmission, and substation projects
• provide onsite construction and engineering support
• communicate progress, safety concerns, issues, schedule updates, change orders, and risks
• coordinate monthly project reporting
• monitor schedules, milestones, scope, and costs
• support financial management, staffing, resource allocation, risk, contracts, and change management
• ensure deliverables meet client expectations and QA/QC standards.
