What you'll do

• Manage insurance billing and collections
• process, submit, track, and follow up on claims
• review unpaid claims and resolve billing issues with insurers
• post Electronic Remittance Advice payments and reconcile discrepancies
• maintain billing and collection records
• monitor accounts receivable and identify reimbursement trends
• generate monthly performance reports
• assign accurate medical codes
• review documentation and medical records for deficiencies
• audit clinical documentation and coded data
• identify discrepancies and compliance concerns
• research and recommend corrective actions
• provide coding guidance and support to staff
• use Excel for reporting and data analysis.

Why this role
