The Preventive Maintenance Technician, 1st Shift role is onsite in Redford, MI, and is full-time. Compensation is $23–$27 per hour. The technician joins the maintenance team supporting industrial manufacturing equipment and production uptime. The role performs scheduled maintenance, inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and servicing while assisting experienced technicians with repairs and installations. It helps identify equipment issues early, document maintenance work, and develop troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

What you'll do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance
• inspect, clean, lubricate, and service machinery
• assist with repairs and installations
• identify potential equipment issues
• document maintenance activities and inspections
• learn to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• operate material-handling equipment as trained
• follow safety procedures including LOTO and PPE.
