What you'll do

• Provide comprehensive optometry care using Indian Health Service facilities, equipment, and support services
• examine and diagnose patients and develop treatment plans and recommendations
• recommend referrals to IHS providers and Purchased Referred Care vendors
• respond to changing temporary coverage needs
• advise the Clinical Director about patient-care issues
• participate in quality assurance activities
• complete required administrative paperwork within 24 hours of visits
• provide consultation to Hospital Emergency Department providers as needed.
