What you'll do

• Directly supervise employees on safety and production
• identify and oversee correction of hazards
• supervise installation and maintenance of roof supports, ventilation controls, pumps, supplies, power distribution, conveyors, and fire-prevention equipment
• oversee coal mining according to plans and regulations
• conduct pre-shift and on-shift examinations
• lead recovery operations and safety meetings
• and complete section records.

Why this role
