Membership Consultant

Job overview

The Membership Consultant role is onsite in Kansas City, MO; compensation is not specified. The position is part of Chiefs Fit’s Sales department and supports the club’s membership and fitness services. The consultant develops prospective member relationships, guides prospects through the sales process, and works toward membership and ancillary-service goals. The role also supports member satisfaction and retention by helping members identify programs aligned with their fitness goals and by providing service that builds a sense of community in the club.

What you'll do

• Generate referrals, convert inquiries into appointments, follow up with prospects, and close sales
• assess prospective members’ needs and present the brand, programs, services, tours, and membership options
• support new-member onboarding to personal training
• track sales activity and meet goals
• develop leads through phone, internet, community outreach, partnerships, corporate visits, referrals, and events
• maintain prospect and member data in the lead tracking system
• complete membership paperwork
• participate in meetings, member functions, marketing events, and promotions
• address member issues and provide accurate information about services and promotions.
