What you'll do

• Prioritize care based on patient needs and flow
• communicate status changes and diagnostic results to emergency physicians
• respond to changes in condition
• provide and evaluate direct patient care
• assess and reassess patients across age groups
• triage and assign categories
• assess pain and educate patients and families
• monitor hemodynamic status and cardiac rhythms
• perform waived testing and act on results
• administer medications appropriately
• document care
• maintain patient safety
• involve patients and families in care planning
• maintain supplies and equipment.
