Groundsperson — Tree and Vegetation Management

Job overview

The Groundsperson role is onsite in Longview, TX, working outdoors at job sites. Compensation is $19 per hour. The role supports crews performing vegetation management and site work, including storm work when needed.

What you'll do

• Clear brush and trees from the ground using hand tools and chain saws
• load and unload debris and feed brush into a chipper
• use hand lines to lower limbs and equipment
• clean job sites
• prepare and store tools and materials
• set up road signs and flag traffic
• operate trucks or equipment as assigned
• perform basic equipment maintenance
• follow safety practices and communicate with coworkers.
