What you'll do

• Support functional areas of payroll
• maintain procedures and monitor tax setup, withholding, banking, garnishments, and payroll processing for regulatory compliance
• support vendor and internal department relationships, audits, and accurate payroll payments
• review and balance payroll tax information and complete multi-state tax reports and payments
• process and reconcile payroll-cycle components
• assist with quarter-end and year-end activities
• run reports and audits
• load employment record adjustments
• maintain confidentiality
• participate in system enhancement and quality improvement projects
• assist with policy and procedure implementation.
