The Electrical Engineer, Embedded Hardware role is onsite in Coeur d’Alene, ID. Compensation is not specified. The engineer owns electrical hardware design from schematics and PCB layout through prototype validation, certification, and manufacturing release, coordinating with customers, factory teams, and firmware and software engineers to deliver reliable, manufacturable products.

What you'll do

• Design schematics for embedded electronics, including microcontroller and touch-controller subsystems, analog front ends, power supplies, and sensor interfaces
• lay out or guide PCB design
• select and qualify components
• build and debug prototypes
• validate signal integrity, EMI/EMC, thermal performance, and power
• design for manufacturability and reliability
• support test specifications and factory test development
• participate in manufacturing design reviews
• coordinate project activities and hardware-software interfaces
• maintain design documentation and communicate with customers, vendors, and factory personnel.
