What you'll do

• Lead prototype and first-article machining for new product development
• collaborate with Engineering on design-for-manufacturability feedback and process development
• program complex parts using CAM software
• edit and optimize G-code for multi-axis machining
• develop fixtures and work-holding solutions
• select and optimize tooling, speeds, feeds, and strategies for complex materials
• perform tight-tolerance machining and validate with precision measurement tools
• lead first-article inspection and participate in root-cause analysis and corrective actions
• document processes and revisions
• mentor machining team members.
