MRI Technologist (PRN)

The MRI Technologist performs routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems, and blood flow studies, presenting images and patient information to the Radiologist for diagnostic reports.

What you'll do

• Performs routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems and blood flow studies.
• Presents images and patient information/history to the Radiologist so that a comprehensive diagnostic report is available to referring physician.
• Assists and positions patients.
• Starts IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• Assesses image quality and makes adjustments when necessary.
• Releases patients with proper post procedure instructions.
• Turns over and prepares the room using aseptic technique between patients and cleans/sterilizes equipment.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate of an accredited school or college with certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.

Experience

2-3 years MRI experience preferred
