Building Automation Systems (BAS) Controls Integrator

The Building Automation Systems (BAS) Controls Integrator role is onsite in Nashville, TN. Compensation is $110,000–$130,000 per year, plus an annual bonus. The employer’s client provides mechanical construction, HVAC, and building automation services across commercial, government, healthcare, industrial, and institutional facilities. The integrator programs, connects, documents, and commissions BAS and HVAC control systems. The role helps ensure building systems interoperate, operate as intended, and can be supported by facility operators through testing, documentation, and training.

What you'll do

• Review mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, blueprints, and specifications
• develop and modify BAS control sequences and applications
• program, integrate, test, and commission HVAC controls, DDC, and BAS
• integrate systems using BACnet MS/TP, BACnet/IP, Modbus, Echelon/LonWorks, and SCADA
• develop BAS graphics and floor plans
• configure networks, controllers, and interfaces
• troubleshoot HVAC electrical and control systems
• assist with installation, checkout, and commissioning
• update programming records and as-built drawings
• test HVAC equipment and integrated systems
• train and support facility operators
• coordinate with technicians, subcontractors, and project managers
• assist with project scope, material and labor planning, and progress documentation
• maintain time, expense, and commissioning records
• follow job-site safety requirements.
