The Family Therapist role is onsite in Woodward, IA, and pays $61,000–$62,400 per year. Woodward Academy provides residential treatment for male youth who are adjudicated delinquent or identified as Children in Need of Assistance. The therapist provides family-centered treatment, engages caregivers, and supports reunification planning. Through family systems therapy and collaboration with youth, families, and multidisciplinary staff, the role aims to strengthen relationships and support lasting behavioral change beyond placement.

What you'll do

• Provide family-focused therapy, including caregiver, joint family, and youth sessions as clinically indicated
• optionally facilitate or co-facilitate family-based or psychoeducational groups
• meet Iowa billable service requirements, including a minimum of 30 direct contact hours
• complete treatment collaborations and managed care reviews as required
• complete clinical documentation accurately and on time
• participate in weekly clinical team meetings and collaborate with residential staff, case managers, and community providers.
