What you'll do

• Feed and groom animals
• assist with restraining animals for veterinary management
• maintain records of feedings, treatments, and updates
• keep the facility clean
• communicate with and educate clients
• perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and blood draws
• prepare for surgery and assist with pre- and post-surgery procedures
• monitor anesthesia
• assist with radiology, laboratory procedures, dentistry, and diagnostic testing
• admit and discharge patients.
