CNC Machinist — Day Shift

The CNC Machinist — Day Shift role is onsite in Odessa, TX. Pay is $20–$36 per hour. The machinist supports Odessa Separator Inc.’s production of precision components to engineering specifications and quality standards. The role sets up, programs, operates, and maintains CNC equipment to produce parts efficiently and safely. Inspection, troubleshooting, recordkeeping, and continuous improvement work help maintain product quality and reliable production.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and other machining equipment
• read blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications
• select and install tooling, fixtures, and offsets
• program and adjust machines as needed
• inspect finished parts with precision measuring instruments
• monitor machine performance
• perform routine maintenance
• troubleshoot issues
• maintain production and inspection records
• follow safety and quality procedures
• participate in continuous improvement.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or GED, three years of CNC machining experience or completion of a technical machining program, and experience with precision measuring equipment. G-code or CAM programming, oilfield or industrial component machining, and Lean experience are preferred.
