• Oversee Practical Nursing program operations
• work with faculty and campus leaders to assure program effectiveness
• identify professional trends and curriculum updates
• participate in budget planning
• maintain program evaluation plans
• review instructional materials and student work
• evaluate faculty and staff
• hold departmental meetings
• attend curriculum, faculty, and advisory board meetings
• cultivate clinical-site relationships and oversee clinical education and scheduling
• maintain relevant learning resources
• identify staffing needs
• provide nursing faculty backup as needed.
