What you'll do
- Install ductwork and ventilation systems
- plan, lay out, and fabricate ductwork components
- measure, mark, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal
- solder water lines and braze refrigeration lines
- install gas and refrigeration lines as needed
- read blueprints and technical drawings
- assist with HVAC equipment rigging and setting
- follow safety and PPE requirements
- assist and train sheet metal assistants.
