Security Engineer, Full Stack

The Security Engineer, Full Stack role is onsite in Bodega Bay, CA, with compensation of $160,000–$230,000 per year. Hadrian builds autonomous factories combining AI, software, robotics, and manufacturing to serve aerospace and defense companies. As a founding member of the growing security team, the engineer establishes security standards, tools, and practices across applications, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, identity, and factory operational technology. The role helps secure the Factory-as-a-Service platform, automate controls, support compliance, and investigate incidents.

What you'll do

• Own security across application code, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, identity and authorization, and factory-floor operational technology
• build automated security tooling and guardrails
• assess unfamiliar systems and design controls
• establish practical foundations for CMMC 2.0, NIST 800-171, and ITAR boundaries
• investigate and resolve incidents and implement systemic improvements.
