CNC Machining Technician

Job overview

The CNC Machining Technician role is onsite in Plattsburgh, NY, with compensation of $29–$34 per hour. Norsk Titanium is advancing on-demand metal additive manufacturing and produces qualified additively manufactured structural titanium components. The technician sets up and operates CNC mills and Mill-Turn lathes to machine titanium preforms and other materials into finished components that meet drawing and customer requirements. The role supports safe production and first-pass quality through program verification, inspection, documentation, and routine machine care.

What you'll do

• Set up 4+ axis CNC mills and Mill-Turn lathes, including fixtures, workholding, tooling, and offsets
• load and verify approved programs and prove out setups
• machine titanium preforms and other materials to drawings and specifications
• interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
• perform and record in-process and final inspections
• complete production and inspection records
• perform routine machine care and report equipment problems.
