Hospice Care Navigator

The navigator develops and carries out marketing and sales activities that connect prospective patients and families with hospice care. The role builds referral relationships, educates the public and partners about hospice and end-of-life planning, and guides referrals through the process toward enrollment.

What you'll do

• Develop and manage a contact and leads database
• build relationships with referral contacts
• make outbound calls and arrange appointments
• conduct appointments and represent Otterbein at public functions
• develop and execute a marketing and sales plan
• track referral sources and identify new sources
• educate the public, partners, and referral sources about end-of-life care, advance directives, hospice eligibility, and hospice services.

Why this role

Requires a valid Ohio RN or LPN license and an Ohio driver’s license. The posting prefers a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and at least two years of sales or referral marketing experience.
