What you'll do

• Set up and manage a cooking station
• receive and communicate guest orders
• prepare and plate menu items to quality standards
• maintain sanitation and safety
• know menu items and explain specials, ingredients, preparation, portions, and substitutions
• determine daily par levels and prepare prep lists
• follow receiving, storage, sidework, and checkout procedures
• coordinate with other cooks and alert the expediter or server when dishes are ready.
