• monitor payment trends and improve billing and collections strategies
• ensure HIPAA compliance
• resolve complex payer issues
• coordinate with Operations
• manage month-end close and reporting
• monitor patient-account-to-staff ratios
• escalate reimbursement issues
• contribute to the departmental budget
• improve billing processes and systems
• develop staff training and performance plans.
