What you'll do

• Greet patients in person and by phone
• answer, screen, and direct calls
• assist with check-in forms and patient records
• collect and process payments
• protect patient information under HIPAA
• schedule and confirm appointments in the medical records platform
• verify appointment orders and authorization needs
• support internal departments
• notify technologists of arrivals and assist patient flow
• obtain authorizations and communicate financial-clearance issues.
