What you'll do

• Administer emergency first aid, scheduled medications, and specialized treatments under health professional direction
• assist with health screenings
• provide basic first aid to staff
• clean work areas
• communicate with parents, students, providers, and agencies
• maintain medication and first-aid inventory
• maintain student health records
• monitor students referred to the health room
• perform procedures as directed by a licensed health professional
• complete recordkeeping and clerical tasks
• report suspected abuse as required
• respond to emergencies.
