Project Engineer

Job overview

The Project Engineer role is onsite in Wheatfield, IN, with field assignments at a designated base of operation at least five days per week. Compensation is $30–$60 per hour. What you'll do

• Monitor contract performance and milestones
• support the onsite construction management team
• inspect construction sites for progress and conformance with engineering plans, specifications, and safety standards
• prepare or direct project reports, specifications, plans, studies, and designs
• maintain schedules and cost records
• review and submit progress billings
• prepare cost and cash-flow projections
• coordinate invoices, change orders, and claims
• prepare quality-control procedures
• maintain meeting records and project correspondence
• assist with project controls, RFI and NCR responses, materials logistics, and project manager activities.
