What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and related components
• inspect vehicles for proper function and safety
• conduct test drives
• use diagnostic equipment and tools
• follow checklists to examine hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems, and brakes
• maintain efficient and accurate repairs.
